Stalker 2 is finally letting us explore the Chornobyl Power Plant

GSC Game World has released a new deep dive video to showcase its upcoming Stalker 2 DLC, Cost of Hope.

The short version

  • The new video gives us an early look at previously unexplored areas of the Zone that stalkers will be able to access once the expansion launches: Iron Forest and the Chornobyl Power Plant itself.
  • GSC has previously confirmed Cost of Hope expansion contains "dozens of hours of content" , so it should be a substantial addition to the already massive Stalker 2, although we're still not entirely sure how much it'll cost.
  • As well as the two new regions, you can also expect new weapons and gear, new hubs, quests, and uncharted locations.

What happened

In this DLC, you can play as Skif through events that occur alongside Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You'll be given in-game notifications via the PDA to access the DLC as the main storyline progresses.

It was announced at an Xbox Partner Showcase in March .
