God of War Laufey's Collector Box will cost £129.99 and will not include the game.
The short version
- That's according to an update on the PlayStation Blog, which confirms the box, priced at $149.99 and €149.99, contains a light-up Faye statue, a 51-card Oracle Deck, and a mini artbook.
- The eight-inch statue shows Faye, Phranque, and Rue taking on Begtse's soldiers, and "Phranque will light up when the statue is plugged into a USB power source" (thanks, ScreenRant ).
- The Oracle Deck has custom illustrations by Megan Lara on every card, and Sony describes it as "a beautiful representation of your adventure through the Everywhen".
What happened
The mini artbook collects concept art of the game's characters, creatures, and environments, "hand-selected by our talented art team at Santa Monica Studio". The box will be available in "highly limited quantities exclusively direct from PlayStation (where available)" on 16th February 2027, the same day God of War Laufey launches on PlayStation 5.
Why it matters
This isn't the first collector's box to skip the game.
